Candy Cane Jello Shots

Ingredients

Yield 64oz

  • 2 Boxes – Flavored Gelatin Mix (3oz) – Strawberry
  • 1 Packet (0.25oz) - Unflavored Gelatin
  • 2 Cups - Peppermint Schnapps
  • 13oz Can – Coconut Milk
  • 3 Cups – Boiling Water
  • 1 Cup - Cold Water

Preparation

  • Boil 3 cups of water.
  • Chill 1 cup of water in the refrigerator.
  • Place the white tip cap on all of the syringes, and temporarily remove the plungers – for filling in the step below.

    For the White Layer:
  • In a bowl, add 1 cup Peppermint Schnapps and sprinkle 1 packet of unflavored gelatin on surface.
  • Let gelatin stand for 1-2 minutes. Add 1 cup of boiling water. Mix until dissolved.
  • Add 13oz coconut milk. Mix.
  • Using one fully assembled syringe, fill each JeloShots syringe up 1/6 of the way – through the plunger-end of syringe .
  • Gently replace the plunger in the process, and place each syringe (nose down) into the bag.
  • Place the bag in the refrigerator (JeloShots nose down). Now, tilt the bag so that the syringes at a 45-degree angle to create the spiral effect.
  • Now, tilt the bag so that the syringes rest at a 45-degree angle to create the spiral effect.
  • Chill this layer for about 20 minutes or until firm.
  • Cover the remaining white jello mixture and maintain at room temperature.

    For the Red Layer:
  • In a bowl, add 2 cups of boiling water and 2 (3oz boxes) of your favorite strawberry gelatin mix. Mix until dissolved.
  • Add 1 cup of cold water and 1 cup of Peppermint Scnapps. Mix.
  • Using one fully assembled JeloShots syringe, add another layer by filling another 1/6 of the way - through the plunger end of syringe.
  • Gently replace the plunger in the process, and place each syringe (nose down) into the bag.
  • Once again, place the bag in the refrigerator (JelsoShots nose down) and tilting the bag at a 45-degree angle to continue the spiral effect.
  • Chill this layer for 20 minutes or so, until firm.
  • Cover the remaining red jello mixture and maintain at room temperature.
  • Now REPEAT. Alternating between the White and Red mixtures. Two more times each or until full.
